Easy one-pots are good for the busy prepare dinner. This hen tagine is nice eaten with cous cous for one thing a bit extra filling

- Cook dinner:40 minutes
- 2 tbsp halved if massive
- 1 chopped
- 2 tsp grated recent or tumeric
- 1 tbsp minimize into sticks
- small bunch roughly chopped
- lemonwedges, to serve
- STEP 1
Warmth the oil in a big, large pan with a lid, add the hen, then fry shortly till flippantly colored. Add the onion and ginger, then fry for an additional 2 minutes.
- STEP 2
Add 150ml water, the saffron, honey and carrots, season, then stir properly. Deliver to the boil, cowl tightly, then simmer for 30 minutes till the hen is tender. Uncover and enhance the warmth for about 5 minutes to cut back the sauce somewhat. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over.
