Crunchy, nutritious and bursting with flavour, these scrumptious vegetarian summer time rolls are good for lunch containers, entertaining, or a seaside facet picnic!
Substances
- 6 rice paper wrappers
- 1 tbs sesame seeds
- 200g cups smoked tofu, minimize into 6 batons
- 6 leaves delicate lettuce
- 1/4 cucumber, finely julienned
- 1/2 carrot, finely julienned
- 2 spring onions finely julienned
- 1 handful coriander, leaves solely
For the dipping sauce
- 2 small pink chillies, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tbs caster (superfine) sugar
- 1 tbs gentle soy sauce
Methodology
Step 1.
Dip the primary rice paper wrapper in a bowl of chilly water, then lay it out on a clear chopping board.
Step 2.
Sprinkle over half a teaspoon of sesame seeds, then add a tofu baton, a folded lettuce leaf and a sixth of the greens and coriander.
Step 3.
Fold over the perimeters of the wrapper, then roll it as much as enclose the filling. Repeat with the remainder of the substances to kind six rolls.
Step 4.
To make the dipping sauce, stir the entire substances collectively and serve in a bowl on the facet.
